Today is Bandcamp Friday and that means Backward Glance is out! As I wrote elsewhere, it took a good bit of digital dumpster-diving to unearth the original tracks for the six songs that made the cut for this EP. Some of them required me to track down and install Cakewalk again (which is now a free program I guess?!) while others were salvaged from old Reaper projects. At least one old drive was unrecoverable. I'm sure there's nothing important on it.
To list all of the tweaks and twiddles I made to these songs would take too long (and probably boring unless you're into audio production), but you might notice things like cleaner vocals, new drum parts, a little more ✨sparkle✨ on the guitars. There's a limited number of CDs at Bandcamp, and the rest will be available at any live shows I manage to book in 2027. Go give 'em a spin!
